Cinematographer

for this project i am the cinematographer. as it is an action film, i will try to use a variety of short, sharp shots. Furthermore, i will take inspiration from the films i have researched to get the best out of the area, shadows, angle and perspective. i will need to find a decent, busy city area, to shoot the getaway of the bank robbery with many refined and stylish looking passages which lead into another for the running scene.

For the meeting of the two criminals (second scene) i will need to find a more distinguished area to shoot.this will be in colour and i will be able to use my skills more efficiently, for this i will take further inspiration from photographer Martin Parr.

Sound
The sound will be typical crime-thriller music (fast-paced drum beat and guitar). We are going to use a drum beat recorded by Louis' friend, and possibly record other instruments to use for other parts of the scene. We will then put it into GarageBand and see if anything can be added to it to improve it. The soundtrack we plan on using is inspired by crime-thrillers like Reservoir Dogs and Ocean's Eleven.

Director
For my influences i have chosen to look at David Fincher and the way he portraits his main characters. I think that Fincher's main character is usually tied up in a crime or murder but is the innocent party. The main character is usually seeking help but no one else either undertands orhas the power to do anything. Films where this is apparent are films such as The Game (1997), Fight Club (1999) and Zodiac (2007). These three films have quite different agenders and topics but the main characters are similar and you simpathasis with them.

Editor
For this piece of Coursework I'm the Editor meaning I will be taking the footage shot and pieceing it together and adding effects etc. to create a film extract. I think that these clips show a variety of effects to compliment the film in a way to make it interesting and exciting, catching peoples eye so they will go see the film. The editor(s) for Sin City is: Robert Rodriguez and the editor(s) for Apocalypse Now is: Lisa Fruchtman, Gerald B. Greenberg and Walter Murch

I have found 2 examples of editing
